"(...) without shaking off the dust of the road, he did not ask where he could sleep or eat, but how to get to the statue of Bolivar." Perhaps it was this story of José Martí, written for La Edad de Oro, my first encounter, like the many more– with Venezuela. Then I surfed between the letters of that incredible people. It was the essential verses of Antonio Arraiz, like those who say, "I like to caress them with the eyes." Until one day I landed on the "Tierra de Gracia".
Then I traveled through the social and geographical arteries of this incredible country. I walked through its people and its music, its smells, its stories, its plains, its culinary art ... Then, nothing was the same when admiring the immensity and the unparalleled beauty of its places and its people.
