Dos mujeres corriendo en la playa (1922), una de las obras expuestas en El sur de Picasso. Referencias andaluzas.
Naturaleza muerta con gallo y cuchillo, 1947.

The opening of the exhibition El sur de Picasso. Referencias Andalusas and the holding of the IV Picasso International Congress, last October, marked the beginning of the celebrations for the fifteen years of the founding of Picasso Málaga Museum.
Poetry, jazz, visits, courses, workshops and an open day were part of the program of activities “Fifteen years in Malaga,” which will have as sponsors the Unicaja Foundation and the Almine and Bernard Ruiz-Picasso Foundation for Art.
The celebrations will end by early 2019, with the inauguration of an exhibition (February 26-June 2) that will deal with Picasso’s relationship with his first wife, Olga Khokhlova, a model par excellence of the so-called classic period of this artist from Malaga.
